IABEE is an independent Indonesian accreditation institution that continues to strive to gain recognition from the international community. Currently, IABEE is a member of the Washington Accord (WA) with Provisional Signatory status, while the Washington Accord (WA) is an international cooperation agreement in the field of accreditation of engineering study programs (bachelor of engineering) under the umbrella of the International Engineering Alliance (IEA).

Efforts to improve the quality of the Study Program by participating in IABEE accreditation (specifically for the General Accreditation type), the Study Program will gain substantial equivalent recognition within the framework of international agreements that are participated in by IABEE. Thus, the international community will see that the Study Program is capable of producing graduates who have mastered the Learning Outcomes substantially agreed upon in these agreements, as a provision for pursuing professional careers that are in line.

Environmental Engineering Study Program Universitas Trisakti has been accredited by IABEE since 2021 which is valid for 3 years. Currently, this accreditation must be extended by preparing a Self-Assessment Report (SAR) which contains an evaluation of the quality management system that leads to continuous improvement, based on the measurement and evaluation of the Learning Outcomes of each Graduate.

In order to maintain IABEE International Accreditation, Environmental Engineering Study Program held “Benchmarking Review and Updating the Environmental Engineering Study Program Curriculum” on Friday, May 19, 2023 with the Environmental Engineering Study Program, Hasanuddin University, Makasar and the Environmental Engineering Study Program, the Islamic University of Indonesia, in determining MK Capstone Design from each Study Program and the use of software and information systems that can support the completeness of preparation for International Accreditation.
